Our Board of Directors meets in regular session on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.  The next regular board meeting is October 14, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the board room of the Scott County Administrative Offices which is located on the 2nd floor of the Scott County Community Services Building, Suite 201, 190 Beech Street, Gate City, Virginia.

Is Your Water Bill Higher? It’s Probably Because Our Rates Have Increased

On July 1, a scheduled increase in our water and sewer monthly user charges went into effect.  The change will show up in the bills customers receive in the middle of August.  The bill for the average water customer will go up $3 a month while the average sewer customer will see an increase of $6 on their monthly bill.

We strive to keep our rates the lowest in our region and have not raised them since July 2022.  However, this rate increase was necessary to pay our bills on operating expenses and construction project loans.  Just like the customers we serve have had to deal with rising costs the past few years, the PSA has experienced increasing costs for all the goods and services we use.
